About Video: Episode 73 discusses the additional purchases that you'll have after buying a rifle. People think that buying a gun is expensive. Maybe. However, the major cost isn't going to come from buying the gun itself. It's going to come from the additional add-ons that you need in order to operate the gun to its full potential, along with ammo and training. This is another reason why "mandatory gun training" before being able to purchase a firearm is stupid and illogical. It's your right to be able to defend yourself with the most capable means and that's a gun. It's expensive enough. Then add permit fees and other fees from the state and you have middle class and poor people at a major disadvantage to defend themselves. Your prices will vary. Not everyone will buy the same gun with the same gear, in the same state. Take it with a grain of salt and budget appropriately. Thanks for watching!

Also, store employees are humans too and might be tired or negligent. There have been negligent discharges from employees and customers in gun stores before. This is why you always want to check. Checks are free! Always check new guns that you're looking at, ask the staff if it's OK to dry fire in the store, and point the gun in a safe direction, while being mindful of those around you.
